Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORIS JEAN STILL (nee MILLER) August 4, 1936 - April 12, 2003 Peacefully after a lengthy illness, Jean passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Predeceased by her parents William and Bertha Miller. Jean leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband Bill Still and his children, Gunnar and Gail and their families; her children, Gail Erickson (Doug), Colin Erickson (Rosemary) and Geraldine Selkirk (Keith) her grandchildren, Regan, Kyla, Chelsey, Lindsay, Brandon, Shayna, Nolan and Colin; and five great-grandchildren; her sister Shirley Young (Bob) of BC; brothers, Ken (Evelyn) Miller and Bill (Janis) Miller of Winnipeg; nieces and nephews and many, many good friends and relatives. Mom was born in Pipestone, MB, and grew up in the Virden area. She met and married John Erickson and lived in Riverton, MB, where they raised their family. In later years she moved to Arborg, MB, where she met Bill Still. Mom was a very kind, caring person who always put others in front of herself. Her favourite saying was "I am so lucky to have such a nice family", but it was her family who was so lucky to have her. Mom had such a positive attitude and she could always see the good in every situation. Her door was always open and the coffee pot was always on. A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital in ICU and 4th floor, Unit 5, and the Arborg General Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel the service will conclude at the chapel. Coffee will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Arborg. Flowers gratefully declined and if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association. Mother To one who bears the sweetest name. And adds a luster to the same. Who shares my joys and tears when sad. The greatest friend we ever had. God bless you Mom for there is no other. That can take the place of our sweet mother. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
